Week 3: Communication - Business & Consumer

Social media platforms are great techniques to use for communication, for business or as a consumer. Our world is so advance now! We have answers on the tips of our fingers!

Difficulty communicating with a business:
I have experiences communicating with business. For the most part, there are small business who are not professional or who do not have social media platforms. That's were you will experience difficulties communicating with business. If all business were online, then, it would be easy to communicate. Not being online, could be an advantage to void negative reviews on your business.

Social media- easier to get noticed or get your problem solved?
  

Yes, social media makes a difference. It is very easy and convenient to communicate to businesses. When you like something or not like something you are able to comment on that. The review comments help customers make decisions on their products.

Positive experience communicating with a business:

Business like comments on their websites and social media platforms. Consumers make decisions base on others experiences. One personal experience, was leaving a positive comments to the clothing bought online. My favorite online clothing store is bebe.com. You get rewarded when you leave comments online. I am more in-tune to leaving comments when I get reward. This is a perfect incentive.

Own business on social media:
For my business, I respond to all comments, received negative or positive. Although my comments are more positive than negative.

Negative- For negative comments, I start by apologizing for the inconvenience. Second, I ask what how we can improve or make our product a better quality. Lastly, I suggest trying us for a second time. This second time- this order is taken very serious and extra special.


Positive- The positive comments are always fantastic! Do to comments- my business grows and generates sales. The word of mouth has always been the number one technique for selling. In todays world this technique is positive reviews online.

Negative or positive experiences:
The online world has made my communication experience fascinating! I have been able to find new restaurants and places to visit within seconds. The online reviews posted online are my best friends. I truly believe and trust the comments. I've always had good experiences.

Negative- The only negative experiences have been when there are no comments to review. I never know if it is because no one has tried it before, or they are trying to be nice, by not adding comments.

Positive- Business appreciate positive comments. At times, they will reward you when you leave a positive comment. This is a motivation for consumers to continue to review products.
